Discipline

  1. The School hours are from 8:45 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with breaks from 11:15 to 11:30a.m. & 1:00 to 1:30 p.m. The School remains closed on Saturdays and Sundays.
  2. At the first bell all students must immediately form lines according to their classes for the assembly. During assembly students Pray, take the Pledge , say the Preamble, sing the school song and the national anthem. At the second bell, all must be in their seats.
  3.  No child is allowed to go home for lunch during the lunch recess. Parents are requested to send packed lunch boxes with their wards. If required, children are also provided  wholesome food in the School Mess on payment of a nominal amount.
  4. On school days and functions, students should wear the School uniform. Those who come to School without full uniform will not be admitted to class and will be marked absent. The same applies to students dressed in shabby uniform. One week is allowed for newly admitted students to acquire the uniform.
  5. Every student is expected to be present in the School premises at the first bell. No late comer will take his/ her seat in class without the signature of the Principal. No student can go back home before the School ends without the written permission of the Principal.
  6. In the absence of the Teacher, the class Monitor is responsible for the discipline of the class.
  7. Any damage done in the class or within the premises has to be made good. The principal is the sole judge regarding the amount to be paid.
  8. Pupils must avoid throwing any pieces of paper, seeds, eraser etc., anywhere in the School premises except in the waste baskets.
  9. No book, newspaper or periodical, not approved by the Principal, may be brought to School. Any Literature, Magazines, Books, etc., of an objectionable nature found in possession of the pupil will result in immediate expulsion of the pupil from School.
  10. Writing or scribbling on walls, benches or anywhere else is strictly prohibited.
  11. Silence must be observed in the corridors and on the stairs during class hours. There should be no loud talking in between periods.
  12. Pupils are responsible for the safe custody of their belongings. Though every effort will be made to recover lost articles, the School cannot be held responsible for any loss or theft of books, money or other belongings.
  13. Strict regularity, implicit obedience, politeness and courtesy in speech is always stressed upon. Good conduct ,and cleanliness of books, dress and person are strictly insisted upon.
  14. CHILDREN ARE NOT ALLOWED TO APPLY NAIL POLISH, MEHENDI OR TATTOOS, WEAR ANKLETS, BANGLES OR ANY JEWELLERY AROUND THE NECK  ETC. WHILE ATTENDING SCHOOL.
  15. Boys must cut their hair short.  Mushroom cut, colouring or streaking of hair is not allowed. Sikh students to use dark blue turbans. Nails should be clean and clipped. Girls should wear only one pair of simple earrings. Boys are not allowed to wear anything on their ears.
  16. Mobile Phones, iPods, Walkman, C.D's or any electronic items are not permitted in the School premises. If any student is found carrying a mobile phone, it will be confiscated and a heavy penalty will be levied on the parents.
  17. Pupils are answerable to the School authorities for their conduct even outside the School. Objectionable conduct whether in or outside the School is punishable with expulsion.
  18. A student who is unwell should not be sent to School. The School is not responsible to administer medical aid to such a student. In case of emergency, medical fees and transport charges will be borne by the parents. Pupils suffering from contagious or infectious diseases are not permitted to attend School until and unless the doctor issues a Medical Certificate certifying the fitness of the child.
  19. Every student shall have an Identity Card which he/ she will carefully pin to his/ her uniform. This Identity Card shall be issued by the School office and is to be renewed every year.
  20. Parents or guardians cannot meet  the teachers during school hours. They are permitted to do so on Thursdays between 3.OOp.m. and 3.3Op.m.
  21. Gifts to members of the staff or other demonstrations in their honour or holding of picnic, parties or meetings require the Principal's sanction.
  22. No fund of any kind,fines or collection for any purpose whatsoever, may be made without the Principal's sanction.
  23. For breach of any School rules,a pupil may be fined or otherwise punished at the discretion of the Principal.
  24. Every student must buy a copy of the Calendar at the beginning of the year. The Calendar must be brought to School daily and should be maintained carefully. If the pupil misuses his/ her Calendar of loses it, a new copy is issued to him/ her against payment of its cost and additional penalty prescribed by the Principal. Whenever a pupil reports to the Principal for any reason whatsoever, he/ she must carry his/ her Calendar with him/ her.
  25. Pupils who come to School without the Calendar will be asked to phone from the school & parents will have to come and hand over the same in the School Office.
  26. Ragging in any form is not allowed in the school premises. If any student is found indulging in the same, strict disciplinary action will be taken. Any student involved in such acts will be penalized as per Maharashtra Government Ragging Act, 1999.
